The Multimedia Studies Program (MSP) was founded in 1992 by filmmaker and SF State instructor Robert Bell and other Bay Area multimedia pioneers and creators. The Multimedia Studies Program continues to be a vital professional education and technology training ground. The program staff continuously collaborates with digital media and workforce development partners, assuring the MSP students receive an education that provides a solid foundation. Digital Video Intensive and Multimedia Studies, along with mini-intensive certificates, are currently offered.
